Marketing Opportunity

The magazines are distributed on alternative months (excluding January & August). This gives businesses a great opportunity to target 5,000 households in each area or achieve a fantastic local distribution of a total of 10,000 households in every two month period if advertising in both publications. Magazines are distributed during the first week of the month to each area as detailed under the 'Distribution Areas' tab.

 Longevity

They aren't thrown away each week like a local newspaper. The magazines have articles, puzzles, local and community information and useful contact telephone numbers as well as an index of advertisers. This ensures that they are read from cover to cover and retained as an essential reference until the next edition is delivered, thereby giving householders immediate access to information when services are required.

Copy Deadline

Final copy must be received by the 20th of each month, for inclusion in the following month's edition (with exception of November and May magazines - please see 'schedule dates' tab above for all copy deadline dates).

Payment

Payment can be made by:

  • Cheque, payable to The Murrayfield and Corstorphine Grapevines
  • BACS, please contact Anne or Jill for details
  • Cash
  • Credit card (subject to a 2.5% surcharge)

Acceptable Formats

Ads can be submitted in the following formats (using CMYK for colour adverts):

  • MS Word
  • PDF (minimum resolution of 300 dpi)
  • MS Publisher
  • JPEG (minimum resolution of 300 dpi)

It is quick and easy to arrange to appear in our magazines. Simply :-

  1. Decide on the size of advert you would like.
  2. Contact us to book the space in one or both of the magazines.
  3. Send us your advert copy or ask us to prepare something for you.
